ABOUT VINALIFT

A ladle crane is specialized equipment used for transporting molten metal between various stages in the smelting, pouring, and casting production lines. VINALIFT has deployed this equipment for major steel plants such as Hoa Phat, TISCO, Kyoei Steel, and VNSteel, meeting stringent technical requirements in high-temperature and heavy-duty environments.

TECHNICAL FAQs

TECHNICAL FAQs

Yes. Beyond the standard 80/20-ton capacity, VINALIFT designs and manufactures equipment based on the actual conditions of each plant (including span, lifting height, and workspace constraints). Our engineering team performs precise calculations to optimize steel structures and components, ensuring maximum investment efficiency for our clients.
Does VINALIFT provide customized designs based on specific drawings?
The system must ensure absolute stability in high-temperature environments. Technical requirements include: heat-insulated control cabins with air conditioning, blind-spot monitoring cameras, hydraulic brake systems combined with electromagnetic brakes (as backup), and the use of variable frequency drives (VFD) for smooth speed control, preventing ladle oscillation that could lead to hazardous situations.
What are the safety requirements for crane operation in smelting furnace areas?
According to TCVN 4244 standards, A8 represents an extra heavy-duty classification. This means the crane is capable of continuous, high-frequency operation with a high number of duty cycles and frequent lifting at maximum rated capacity. The A8 rating ensures equipment durability and longevity for steelmaking lines operating 24/7.

What is the A8 duty class?
Ladle cranes are specially designed to handle heavy loads and operate continuously in extreme environments (high temperatures, high dust levels, and high humidity). Unlike standard cranes, this system must feature a higher safety factor, heat insulation for electrical and mechanical components, and a specialized hoisting mechanism (typically equipped with two independent brakes) to ensure absolute safety for the molten steel ladle.
What is the difference between a ladle crane and a standard double girder crane?
The process strictly complies with current lifting equipment safety regulations. The steps include: checking geometric dimensions, no-load testing, static load testing (at 125% of design capacity), dynamic load testing (at 110% of design capacity), and inspecting all electrical safety systems and brakes before issuing an operating license.
What is the inspection and testing process before handover?
